*”20X more interest on your savings” is only applicable for balances within the NTUC-OCBC Starter Savings Account. “20X more interest” is based on the comparison between the 1% p.a. interest payable on a sum of S$1 to S$50,000 on the NTUC-OCBC Starter Account (NTUC Plus! Visa Card) versus an assumed interest payable of 0.05% p.a. on a similar statement savings account.

DEPOSIT INSURANCE SCHEME

Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors and monies and deposits denominated in Singapore dollars under the Supplementary Retirement Scheme are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$50,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
